Ingredients
1 cup glutinous rice
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 cups lite coconut milk
3/4 cup So Good Almond Unsweetened
1/4 tsp salt
4 pandan leaf
1 tsp whole peppercorn
Method
- Place the water, glutinous rice and turmeric powder in a stainless bowl and soak overnight.
- Prepare a steamer, and place either parchment paper or banana leaf if needed.
- Strain the turmeric rice, and place in the steamer.
- Add tied pandan leaves.
- Steam for 10 minutes.
- Mix the coconut milk, So Good Almond Unsweetened, salt, whole peppercorn then mix into the steaming rice, steam for another 20 minutes.
- Remove the pandan leaves and serve.
